When tensions are high because change is imminent. Or perhaps there’s unbridled excitement - your team is new and normalizing.
Mindfulness is a doorway to wisdom and a path to find ease in the now.
This workshop series introduces participants to practical mindfulness techniques that will elevate leadership strength, enhance overall focus, and improve overall well-being during the inevitable challenges that occur at work and in life. Workshop content is built on proven techniques from modern scientific theory and ancient Buddhist wisdom. Attendees will engage in mindfulness practices through discussions, exercises, and guided meditations.
What we’ll cover:
Fundamentals - we’ll discuss what is and isn’t mindfulness in the workplace and practice basic techniques to begin building awareness and motivation.
Emotional Intelligence - we’ll explore noticing, relating to and responding to default reactions and thinking processes - even power dynamics, so you feel more grounded walking into a tough conversation with your boss, colleague or….yourself.
Navigating Difficult Situations - we’ll introduce techniques to turn to when inner or outer conflict is boiling. Perhaps you’ve procrastinated a bit too long or your co-worker forgot to do the thing…one last time.
Systems of Mindfulness - we’ll discuss practical ways to build your system of mindfulness at work and beyond.
Benefits of Mindfulness
According to the Mental Health Institute, mindfulness can help you understand your emotions better, cope better with difficult thoughts, feel calmer, boost your attention and concentration, even improve your relationships.
But mindfulness doesn’t have to look like sitting cross-legged on a mat. It can be practiced when doing the dishes, navigating traffic, even while preparing for your annual performance review.
